What The Father intended your LIFE to be

Excerpt from Freedom for LIFE, "All of God Inside You"

The Father never intended for your life to be a checklist of “should and should not(s)”; no, that’s the root of religion. Religion is not God’s creation; it’s man’s creation. Therefore, it is void of the life transforming power of God’s Spirit. Religion focuses on right and wrong, and good and evil; all while drawing you away from God’s focus––life! God wants you to live with the same freedom that He does. You may be thinking, “But what about my sins?” Did you know that through the finished work of The Cross of Jesus Christ, you have been forgiven of all your past, present and future sins (Hebrews 10:17)?

Through Jesus, The Father has given you and me, abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness (Romans 5:17). As it is written: “for as He [Jesus] is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17-18). Through your faith in Jesus, you can be made right with The Father––now! Many have mistakenly believed that if they rid themselves of sin, then someday they “might” go to Heaven. But Jesus said, “Behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21b).

You can no more rid yourself of sin, than atone for sin through your own efforts and/or religious customs. When you presuppose your own strength, you are in direct opposition to The Father’s grace through The Lord Jesus. Only Jesus, The Lamb of God, could take away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Jesus’ sacrifice allowed The Father to no longer see you through your sin, but to see you through His blood (Ephesians 1:3-6). Despite all of your inadequacies, The Word of God has declared over you, “There is therefore, now, no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). God The Father’s love for you was demonstrated by The Cross.

Friend, The Creator of the universe wants a relationship with you! And the finished work of The Cross of Jesus is a constant reminder of The Father's open invitation to reclaim your sonship.
